Flavia Piola is an Italian documentary photographer based in Rome.
She was born in 1993 and she started studying photography at the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia of Rome, Italy.

Since 2017, she has been freelancing as a photographer and filmmaker, and has assisted an italian photo artist, Alessandro Valeri, who joined the Biennale di Venezia two times.

Her work has appeared in La Repubblica, MIFA, Artribune, Arcipelago, Perimetro, Todi Immagina.

Member of Women Photograph, she graduated from the International Center of Photography in New York City in June 2021, with a M.A. in Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism.
